September 2020 Poetry of Nature Walk + Poems
Rock Point Park | Vermont
In September 2020, poetry explorers from Vermont, Connecticut, Washington, DC and Australia enjoyed coming along on an unseasonably cool, but bright and sunny day as I walked at Rock Point Park in Burlington, Vermont. It was a beautiful trek for exploring our writing theme of the Japanese poetic forms of haiku, tanka and hokku. The landscape of Rock Point always feels like being transported to Japan; hence, the inspiration for our exploration of the beauty and refined elegance of Japanese forms.
