Poetry explorers from Vermont, Connecticut and Australia gathered online to walk along with me as I trekked the StoryWalk Trail at Leddy Park in Burlington, Vermont on a very bracing winter’s day. Guided by the timely and beautifully-illustrated story book, All Because You Matter, we explored what elements make a good story, and applied some of these elements in writing a poem.
